E cigarette users are growing exponentially all across the country. Despite the popularity of e cigarettes, for some people e cigarettes have a lot of components, the use of which can be very confusing. One of the biggest points of confusion is the difference between cartomizers and atomizers, and more importantly which is better. If you are one of the many e cigarette user that want to better understand the difference between atomizers and cartomizers, then read on.
Saying that there is a difference between a cartomizer and an atomizer isn’t exactly correct. In simplest terms a cartomizer is the combination of a cartridge and and atomizer in one disposable package. With some electronic cigarettes they come in three different pieces: the atomizer, the cartridge, and the battery. The battery is the piece that resembles the “burning” part of a cigarette. The cartridge is the part that holds the e liquid and you smoke from. It’s also commonly referred to as the “mouthpiece”. The atomizer is situated between the cartridge and battery and burns the e liquid to make the vapor that you inhale. A cartomizer combines the atomizer and cartridge eliminating quite a few steps.
With the combination that a cartridge and atomizer create there’s no more need for filling your cartridge with e liquid because it’s already filled. The downside to this is also an upside. You have to throw them away because they’re disposable. While many look at this as an upside many might not like this because of the seeming waste. However, cartomizers are amazing for anybody that’s always in a hurry because with the simple twist of a cartomizer you’re on a way.
